On May 23rd, our partner team in Croatia held a BRIDGE co-design workshop, bringing together autistic young people (ages 13–17 and 18+) and their parents to talk about what a safer, more positive internet experience looks like for them.
Participants split into groups to share what matters most to them, from staying safe and recognizing online risks, to finding others with shared interests and having a voice in decisions about how they use technology. Parents and young people worked side by side, exploring both what concerns them and what they’d like to see change.
These insights will help shape the BRIDGE project’s upcoming digital toolkit, designed to support autistic youth and their families across all partner countries.
A big thank you to everyone who took part, your openness and ideas are helping build something that will genuinely make a difference. 💙
