On June 4th, APIS Non-Profit Organization hosted a co-design workshop as part of the BRIDGE project, bringing together autistic young people, parents, caregivers, and professionals to talk openly about how they experience the internet.
Through discussion, drawing, and hands-on activities, participants shared what they love about being online, from YouTube and gaming to connecting with people who share their interests, as well as the challenges they navigate, like knowing when to log off or staying safe from cyberbullying.
Their insights will directly shape the BRIDGE project’s upcoming digital toolkit, designed to support autistic youth and their families online.
